Day/Time: Wednesdays from 3:30 to 4:15 PM

Ages: K-2

Schedule: 8 Classes (8/28-10/30): Aug 28, September 4, 11, 18, 25 October 9, 16, 30

Instructor: Ashwin Suseendran

Performance: An informal performance will be held on the last day of class, Oct 30 from 3:30 to 4:15 PM. Parents, friends, family, students, and teachers are invited to view a regular class and celebrate musical development of the St Andrews Bucketeers.

Students are encouraged to wear a Bucketeers tee shirt to each class and these are available on the website for $15. If your child already has one from a previous session, it’s not necessary to buy another.

Ashwin Suseendran

Ashwin Suseendran is a PhD candidate in Musicology at University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC). Ashwin is a multi-instrumentalist with experience teaching & performing using piano, bass guitar, trumpet, accordion, traditional Indian percussion, and traditional Brazilian percussion. He enjoys writing, arranging, and composing music in multiple genres. Ashwin previously attended Temple University where he received a Bachelor of Music in Music Education/Jazz Studies & Minor in Geography/Urban Studies and a Master’s Degree in Musicology. He has five years of experience teaching music to preschoolers through adults.
