Day/Time: Wednesdays from 1:20 to 1:50 PM. (TK and K students are picked up by the Bucketeers instructor at 1 PM and class starts ASAP.)

Location: Basketball Court Area Against Wall

Ages: TK-3rd Grade

Schedule: 9 Classes (3/19–5/21): March 19, 26 April 2, 16, 23, 30 May 7, 14, 21

No class on April 9

Instructor: Andy Ziker

Performance: Parents are welcome to attend the last class of the session on 5/21 at 1:20 PM. This is an informal presentation. We might also be performing at the talent show in the cafeteria (details TBA).

Students are encouraged — this is optional — to wear a Bucketeers tee shirt to each class and these are available on the website for $15. If your child already has one from a previous session, it’s not necessary to buy another.

NOTE: Registration & payment is done through a portal called Homeroom.

Instructor

Andy Ziker

Andy Ziker is a longtime educator and professional musician and founded Bucketeers in 2014. Andy has authored 14 drum instruction books and three children’s books. He has taught private drum set lessons to children & adults for 35 years and taught 4th grade and middle school science in the public schools. Andy has a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University. He currently plays in a popular Santa Cruz area rock cover band called Spun and teaches private drum lessons at The Rhythm Academy of San Jose.
