Day/Time: Thursdays from 2:45 to 3:45 PM

Ages: TK-5th Grade

Schedule: 6 Classes (1/29-3/19) Jan 19 Feb 5, 12, 26 March 5, 19 (The price includes a $70 facility/processing fee.)

No class on Feb 19, March 12

Location: Multi-Purpose Room

Instructor: Niles Flynn

Performance: An informal performance will be held on the last day of class, March 19th from 3:15 to 3:45 PM (last 30 minutes of class). Parents, friends, family, students, and teachers are invited to view a regular class and celebrate musical development of the Lexington Bucketeers.

In the case of force majeure (such as schools closing/moving to virtual learning because of the pandemic), weekly instruction will be offered in the form of YouTube videos or Zoom classes.

Instructor

Walter Gardella

Walter Gardella is a multi-instrumentalist and music teacher. He’s classically trained as pianist and has recently brought his keyboard talent out to music projects in several other styles. He has composed and produced music for short films, video games, bands, and solo artists. Walter has taught students of all ages how to compose music and play a wide variety of instruments including percussion, piano, guitar, and ukulele. He uses his passion for learning music to encourage others to do the same. Walter has a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and creative writing from Knox College in Illinois. His teaching experience includes Kai Chi Zhu Piano School, A TEAM Homeschool Community, and as an independent private instructor.
